“Spiritually Healthier Churches Multiplying to Radically Transform Communities for the Kingdom of God.”

This is our vision statement for the association. It is a very power packed statement for us as a network of local churches working together to grow the Kingdom of God.   But for me the most important word in this statement is the word – MULTIPLY. This word imparts the most powerful picture of what we are about as churches of Three Rivers. We must be about multiplying. Multiplying disciples and multiplying churches. We live in a rapidly growing metropolitan area that has not just hundreds of lost people but millions of lost people, People who in many cases do not even have a clue that God exists and that He cares for them.

Because of this lack of knowledge about God’s love and the salvation that He has provided it has become crucial that we start new disciplemaking churches in our area. Therefore Church Planting is a primary concern and focus for us.

We currently have 3 new church starts that are working to become self-sustaining, self-governing, and self-perpetuating Bodies of Christ. These new congregations are as follows:

  • Journey Church in Bourbonnais, Chad Ozee - lead planter
  • The Hill Church in Crest Hill with lead planter Craig Arnold
  • Shepherd Reformed Baptist Church with lead planter Luke Schmeltzer
  • Cornerstone Ministries in Watseka, P.J. Parker - the lead planter.

If you think God might be calling you to help start a new church please contact our office for more information. We are in the process of developing an intern/apprentice training program to help equip those whom God has placed his call to plant a church upon.
